God of War Movie | Screenwriters promise humanize Kratos

The Screenwriters Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, from the upcoming Pacific Rim, spoke to IGN about adapting to theaters God of War.

Melton and Dunstan, also responsible for Saw and Piranha 3DD, explained how they intend to address Kratos: "Just as the interpretation of Christopher Nolan created a Batman more human, we are trying to do this with Kratos, let's see it before it becomes the Ghost of Sparta, when he was just a Spartan soldier and had a family and children. In the game ... exists that of the barbarians attack and Kratos need to call Ares for help him.  We learn about them and understand how it operates. So are potentially 30 minutes - more or less - built this character so that when he becomes the Ghost of Sparta, we can understand how the human and understand their journey. emotionally we are investing to the movie can go beyond this first. "

Created in 2005 by David Jaffe and Shannon Studstill, the game is one of the most acclaimed productions of the Playstation 2. Set in ancient Greece, the story follows the trajectory and the battles of Kratos, a warrior who faces mythological beasts like Medusa, Cyclops and the Hydra.

The Atlas Entertainment production has not yet chosen a director.
